From time to time we'll feature a textured pattern from the book, "Modular Textures: Patterns Patterns for Weavette® & Weave-It Looms ." These instructions are compatible for other 4" looms of similar design (Weave-It, Loomette, Magic Loom or Jiffy Loom as well as our Weavette® Loom). We have directions for weaving the patterns on the Rectangle Weavette® looms as well.

To begin, thread the loom as described in the Basic Instructions for the Weavette® Loom, through Figure 3. Wind off the measured amount of yarn for your loom, as described. The following pattern weaving instructions are abbreviated as follows: 1R (first row), 2R (second row), etc.; W (weave), U (under), O (over). Plain weave means to weave the yarn in an over-one, under-one sequence, repeated across the entire row. You will end with the last row of weaving next to the pins. To secure your woven piece, bring the yarn around the last bare pin and thread the needle into the first loop. Don't pull the yarn tightly but instead, when the yarn makes a loop, thread the needle through this loop and then pull it down tightly.
